No.184: Ohilology Volume 26 Birds Eyes CD

Hello: I am a Charlie Parker collector in California. I am searching for the CD called: Birds Eyes Volume 26 on the Philology Label W854. Does anyone have it or know where to buy it. I've tried Ebay and Amazon with no luck. Some day to try the Philology Label in Italy. Thanks, Brian

No.181: more quotes

I think i can add a couple of quotes. In Koko (1945, Savoy), part of Alphonse Picou clarinet solo on High Society is quoted by Bird. Then, on Embraceable you (Dial, 1947, master take), the famous six note phrase in which is based Parker’s solo comes (in my opinion quite clearly) from As time goles by (You must remember this...) Big hug. Emilio, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
