These are the sessions of BIRD's later year. You will feel his physical and mental decline from here. The sound of his saxophone grew weak. But terrifically, "Parker Music" was as it is until he died. Feeling of his music and his phrase were as it is. His sound fell into decay with the style as it is. The aspect gives us impression all the more. Though the sound is declines, The light tune, "I Get A Kick Out of You" was played with as it is. It feels me to be sad. May. 30, 1999 Yoichi
